Dun Mor broch

Dun Mor broch, on the north coast of Tiree, near Vaul, is a two thousand year old fortified building that was probably used as a refuge during times of attack. The walls were 4 metres thick, with stairs leading to the upper levels in the hollow centre. Only the base of the walls now remains.
